I’ve always been a strong swimmer
But the swells of wanting you
Billows and breakers rage
An unexpected smile and
I’m disarmed
And the current keeps me captive
You’re a riptide that leaves me helpless
Dragging me into the undertow
I used to be a strong swimmer before you
